Thankful.
As we officially come into the Holiday Season it is time for each of us in our own way
reflect on the year. I know everyone wants to talk about the challenges of 2020; COVID,
masks, elections and many among us have gone through some personally troublesome
times this year.
Thanksgiving is just weeks away, for many of us Thanksgiving won’t be
the same with travel restrictions and social distancing in place. That being said it is my
wish that everyone celebrates the spirit of the Holiday. I want to challenge everyone
reading this to find one thing that happened this year that they are thankful for.
I was speaking with one of our over the road drivers the other day and he told me about
the house they were buying and getting ready to move into soon. Nothing makes me
happier than hearing a story like that. It makes me proud of what we do here. Every
person in our family of companies played a part in making that happen for his family.
I am thankful for my family. I am thankful my son Mitchell graduated from college this
past spring and is now full time working for our company. I am thankful that I get to
come to work every day and enjoy what I do. I am thankful that I get to work with the
best team in trucking!
